On September 6th, Mr. Sebastian Lau, General Secretary of the World Digital Sports Alliance, was invited to attend the opening ceremony for the "Macau Magic Meeting Anime Carnival," hosted by Nam Kwong Cultural and Creative Industry Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Digital Culture Group Co., Ltd.

The carnival, centered around the theme of "Anime, Games, and Music," featured themed sections such as renowned COSERS, concerts, autograph sessions, popular game experiences, classic anime tours, fan creation booths, and free random Otaku Dance performances. Over 100 renowned domestic and international animation and gaming companies and leading IP rights holders gathered together. Through diverse themed activities and cross-disciplinary dialogues, the event injected new energy into Macau, a city brimming with cultural diversity and vitality, from September 6th to 7th.

Other distinguished guests also participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Bai Bing, Deputy Director of the Publicity and Culture Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR; Xu Xinyuan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Cultural Development Fund of the Macao SAR Government; Luo Junhao, Acting Director of the Cultural and Creative Industries Promotion Department of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Song Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of Nam Kwong (Group) Co., Ltd.; Liu Jinling, President of the Macao Women's General Association; Sebastian Lau, General Secretary of the World Digital Sports Alliance; Zhu Yun, General Manager of Nam Kwong Cultural and Creative Industry Co., Ltd.; and Huang Le, Deputy General Manager of Jiangxi Digital Culture Group Co., Ltd.

 

The two-day Anime Carnival, running from September 6th to 7th, will also offer Macau audiences a cultural feast for ACG enthusiasts, integrating exchange, experience, and creation. On the first day of the event (September 6th), popular voice actors such as Yuina and Tomokazu Shirakari held fan meetings, while YUMECO delivered an energetic idol performance. "Danganronpa" series producer Kazuo Kodaka also interacted with the audience. In the evening, the groups Ayahonzu*, Matsushita, and Kakichihoko performed a mini-live show, energizing the atmosphere with music. On the second day (September 7th), voice actors such as Wu Liangwei and Shi Zekun met with fans, while DJ sets by KK Haohung, Mliok39, and baker were also featured. Japanese guest Yusaku Murata participated in a special talk, while n.k performed, and Ono Michi and LLABB performed on stage. YUMECO once again presented idol performances.

 

This carnival is not only a grand celebration of ACG culture, but also marks a deep integration between digital sports and the creative industry. With the strategic partnership between the World Digital Sports Alliance and Nam Kwong Group advancing the two sides will accelerate communication and collaboration to jointly develop influential e-sports IP events in the Greater Bay Area, further stimulating synergy between regional culture and technological innovation.
